ABOUT THE AUTHOR –––
Dr. Leanna Cinquanta
Leanna is a motivational speaker, published author, reformer, movement leader, adventurer and equestrian.
She is the founder and president of WIN (We Ignite Nations) innovating solutions to poverty and exploitation through sustainable Christ-based educational initiatives and businesses.
Dr. C Peter Wagner declared her to be “the most effective field missiologist I have ever known.”
Some of her team’s big initiatives include virtually ending child slavery in a region called "Asia's poisonous hub of human trafficking,” and establishing businesses that sustainably train Christian leaders while also equipping them to prosper.
Leanna remembers her father looking into her face and saying, "You can do anything you want to if you want to do it bad enough!" Her life is a testimony of this truth. Her father taught her to fly a plane when she was nine years old and her mom Kathy home-schooled her until high school. By age fourteen she had helped her parents design and build four homes. By sixteen, with a handicapped horse and very little instruction, she became the youngest rider in her region to win a national equestrian championship.
At age fifteen Leanna had a dramatic personal experience with Jesus which has been featured on TBN, The 700 Club, God TV and others. In 1996 the Lord called her to a remote region of the world and she began living directly with the native people in the small towns and villages. She subjected herself to the rigors of a developing nation including drinking putrid water from village wells and surviving on rice and lentils. Seeing her love and willingness to live like one of them, the native people gave her a name that in their language means "light” saying “you brought light and hope into our difficult lives.”
In 1997 Leanna founded the organization that would become WIN (We Ignite Nations). Today that work has resulted in hundreds of thousands of lives transformed, and poverty and exploitation ended in whole communities. The early part of that story is revealed in Leanna's first book titled Treasures in Dark Places.
Leanna is following the heart of God to ignite hope, healing, and transformation across entire communities and nations. Her new book Your Secret Calling is a combination of Biblical teaching and real-life examples. It reveals a mystery that Leanna and her team have been field testing for years, and releases into the earth a whole-life hope and healing that has been dormant for centuries.
