Archana is the sister of one of WIN Life’s network pastors. She knew how to stitch but, having no sewing machine, was saving a few pennies each week from her family’s meager income. But during the Covid pandemic, she had to spend all her savings just so her family could survive.
WIN came to know of Archana's situation and provided her with a sewing machine.
Now, Archana is not only using her tailoring skill to feed her own family but also directing one of WIN’s tailoring schools. She is using her skill to empower other girls to serve their community and come out of poverty. She says, “There are so many girls whose hopes have been broken. But now I can help them. I am training them and bringing hope to many young girls in my community.”
