Freedom Through Sustenance

July 12, 2021 by WIN

India is considered one of the world's poorest countries, and with a fragile food system, struggles to produce a sufficient inexpensive supply of food during normal conditions. As the second most populous nation, most of India lives in extreme poverty, with most of its population chronically undernourished. The global pandemic and mandatory shut-downs have highlighted the food supply problem and made available food and funds to purchase sustenance an even greater challenge.

Many families have been left jobless with no way to provide for their families. Through the generosity of our donors, WIN has been able to provide much-needed food relief to struggling families.

WIN has come alongside communities in Northern India that have been struggling during the pandemic to help fulfill their immediate needs and alleviate further suffering.
